Abstract:Lattice implication algebra is an important logic algebra, congruence relations is one of important contents in it. The basic properties and the structures of general congruence relations on lattice implication algebras are discussed; The results that a lattice implication algebra is congruence-permutable is obtained; At last, properties of congruence relations on finite lattice implication algebras are discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, Semantic Dictionary has been proposed to handle with the problem – which keywords should I put in that search box to find out the information I really need? Semantic Dictionary is a dynamic dictionary that takes advantage of, and is in fact built from, the huge database of tags available on the web, like Wikipedia[1] , Hudong[2] encyclopedia etc. When a user types in a search term, Semantic Dictionary automatically retrieves a set of semantically related terms which are not just limited to a specific search term [3]. This method [4] significantly saves users’ time by avoiding multiple search keywords that are usually required in traditional ones. We present experiment on using Hudong online encyclopedia in Chinese to compute semantic relatedness and build Semantic Dictionary.

Abstract:In response to acute perturbations from outside, cell can trigger its self-defense mechanisms to fight against genome stresses. To simulate the kinetics of cellular to respond to DNA damage at single cell level, a model of the double strand breaks (DSBs) generation and repair process was proposed under continuous IR. The model can be successfully used to present the kinetics of DSBs generation and their repair, as well as the complicated interactions among vital components during the continuous radiation time. In different IR dose domains, the simulations suggest that the capability of cellular responding to DNA damage begin to decrease as IR overpasses some strength threshold.

Abstract:To simulate the investigation of the cellular responding acute ion radiation (IR) under radiotherapy, by using the methods with the system biology and cyber-biology, a model of P53 stress response networks is proposed at single cell level. Meanwhile, the dynamic processes of DNA damage transferring, the complicated regulating among vital genes, as well as the degradation of toxins are presented during radiotherapy,. Especially, the plausible outcomes of cellular responding acute IR are predicted under different IR dose domains. Furthermore, some meaningful instructions in selecting the optimal IR dose and therapy time are provided prior to clinical radiotherapy.

Abstract:Based on Lyapunov stabilization theorem, considering the diffusionless chaotic system, a method is proposed for global chaos synchronization among three identical systems. Meanwhile, the method of three different structures chaotic systems global synchronization is shown. Then this method is applied to secure communication through chaotic masking, used three coupled identical system, propose a novel method of chaos encryption, after encrypting in the first two coupled systems, do it again in the later two coupled systems. Simulation results show that the method can realize monotonous synchronization. Further more, the information signal can be recovered undistorted when applying this method to secure communication.

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:A star direct product in the form of matrices is proposed for one-dimensional symbolic dynamics of arbitrary multimodal maps. The direct product is based on the angle decomposition technique in the from of symbolized vertex shift matrices which are orthonormal 0-1 matrices and form a special orthonormal group. The admissibility condition of symbolized vertex shift matrices and the admissibility of star direct product are proved in detail. They will guarantee that the product are of renormalizable orbits. The star direct product has many algebraic distinctions to the conventional star product. Therefore, it is expected that there may exist a great diversity of Feigenbaum\\\

Abstract:The universal relation between knot theory and symbolic dynamics is established in bimodal maps in this paper. When symbolic sequences of maps are expressed as simple knots, it is easy to find that knots for renormalizable sequences are constructed of bunches of flows. They are parallel, inverse parallel or single-folding. The generation of renormalizable knots can be operated easily in geometry or be calculated by algebraic method. Especially, it is independent of traditional star product of symbolic dynamics. We present some examples and list them in a table with period not beyond 6.

Abstract:A summing network of FitzHugh-Nagumo model neurons is studied in the context of array stochastic resonance. A noisy aperiodic input, assisted by collective internal array noise, stimulates the summing network for a more efficient response. This form of array stochastic resonance is characterized by a correlation coefficient, and demonstrates the beneficial strategies of both external noise and internal noise.

Abstract:In this paper, we are concerned with the optimal control of the evolutionary p-Laplacian with the convective boundary condition taking the heat transfer coefficient as the control. We take as our cost functional the L^p-norm of the difference between the temperature attained and the desired temperature. The existence and the stability of the optimal control that minimizes the cost functional are proved.

Abstract:We continue the study of spiking neural P systems with exhaustive use of rules by considering these computing devices as language generators, where a step is associated with a symbol according to the number of spikes emitted by the output neuron and the sequence of these symbols associated with a halting computation of a given system constitutes a string. About string languages generated by spiking neural P systems with exhaustive use of rules, two cases are considered, one is interpreting a step as a new symbol when no spike is emitted, the other is interpreting it as the empty string. In all these cases, it is proved that finite and recursively enumerable languages are characterized by spiking neural P systems in exhaustive mode. Moreover, the relationships with regular languages are also investigated.
