Abstract:Subspace l-SkyRex query processing has recently received a lot of attention in database community. Given a set of multidimensional objects, l-SkyRex query on Subspace V finds the objects that are dominated by at most l objects on this subspace. In multi-user environments, skyline analysis systems need the capabilities to optimize multiple subspace l-SkyRex queries simultaneously. Therefore, for this purpose, we also propose AOMSSQ (Algorithm for Optimizing Multiple Subspace l-SkyRex Queries), the first efficient sound and complete algorithm to optimize multiple subspace l-SkyRex queries in multi-user environments. Finally, we discuss two interesting variations of subspace l-SkyRex query, i.e., global constraint subspace l-SkyRex query and local constraint subspace l-SkyRex query, which are meaningful in practice, and show how our solutions can be applied for their efficient processing. Detailed theoretical analyses and extensive experiments that demonstrate our algorithms are both efficient and effective.

Abstract:In this paper, a feasible realization method of workflow engine is discussed in detailed for enterprise information management on the basis of database technology. Under the guidance of workflow management Coalition (WfMC), the data model of workflow engine is presented firstly based on the process model given, in which the attributes of process, activity and its relationships with role, application, workflow relation data and transfer condition are marked out. And then the basic control principles of workflow engine are designed based on the necessary tables of process instances and activity instances, in which the control method of process instance and activity instance are discussed in detail including the creation, startup, management or status evolvement of the instance. In our research work, this workflow engine is programmed as this realization method successfully on the development platform of SQL server 2000 and Visual Studio 2005 and the results shows the effectiveness of the workflow engine for inventory information management. Our achievements give a feasible realization method for business process management in enterprise using the advanced workflow technology, which can assign the good flexibility to the information management and improve the whole performance of enterprise while facing the changing market requirements.

Abstract:This paper presents an Android platform's phone steering control system and method which uses phone vibrator to drive the phone to rotate and bases on the orientation sensor to accurately control the rotating angle. This paper first introduces the background of the system and the principle of the method. In addition, it also analyzes and compares the control system between the traditional PTZ control and the control based on the phone vibrator and orientation sensor, which proves the advantage of this design. And then, on this basis, this paper describes the main control system architecture, the basic flow of the steering control and data transfer method between the control terminal and the smart phone. This paper also describes the implementation and results of this method and proves the design's feasibility and correctness.

Abstract:Keyword search is a friendly way for user to find the information they are interested in from XML documents without having to learn a complex query language or needing prior knowledge of the structure of the underlying data. However, the existing methods are usually limited to the input keywords. In this paper, we introduced the notion of synonyms, acronym, abbreviations and so on to capture user query intentions. We propose a SLCA based keyword search with synonym rules over xml documents which are orthogonal to various of xml keyword search techniques. In addition, we also use this to give a effective and efficient slca based keyword search.

Abstract:Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX) is a new communication standard for an Aircraft Data Network. AFDX networks are used in safety-critical applications that require dedicated bandwidth and provides deterministic Quality of Service (QoS). An aircraft system based on an AFDX network must have the ability to change its functionality over time by means of a mode change. Therefore, it is very important to guarantee the timing requirements in every steady mode, and also during the transition between two different modes. In this paper, a mode change request (MCR) is defined as a sporadic event which triggers a change from one mode to another mode. A Basic Mode Change Model is first described for an AFDX network in order to analyze schedulability of mutual data flows. Then schedulability analysis is done using the proposed model by computing worst case response time for the data flow.

Abstract:Web resouces can not predicate all possible usage of the web resources.Mashuping the data from different origins with the wisdom is an important way to reuse the web resources and uncover more new ways to use them. The paper proposes a novel method which targetted at utilizing the crowd's wisdom to create mashups. The key issuese investigated in the paper include:(1) how to express and analyze the user's initial requirement;(2)how to evaluate the end user expert's ability to fulfill a mashup task.(3)how to generate a roadmap for the mashup task. The rational of the method is explained and a typical workflow example is given to show the usage of the method.

Abstract:Since Internet was widely used, enterprise application architecture has experienced many significant changes, which now can generally be divided into two architecture modes, C/S and B/S. Difficult deployment and update problems of C/S and the lack of friendly user experience of B/S are always hard to solve and avoid for developers and users. Developers need to find a new technology to solve these problems, so RIA comes out. Web Service is the best practice of SOA which is more suitable for the construction of distributed application system. In this paper we combined Web Service with RIA and discussed the Web Service invocation process. We first give an overview of RIA architecture technology and related researches, and then present a Web Service-based application framework for building RIA applications and finally we provide a .Net SOAP Web Service invocation implementation as an example.

Abstract:This paper provides a novel context modeling method, which chooses concepts from domain models. This method can help control the user's explicit input during human-web interaction. The relationship between context and service is flexible. In addition, previous users' experience in context driven service selection will be kept down to expedite the analysis of the context of a specific requirement.

Abstract:Set concise and numerated substructures to the letters and Arabic numbers. Make deferent definitions to separated letters and cursive letters. Obviously, it is easy to distinguish letters online. Bypass and avoid a large amount of normal mathematics calculations for the patterns. We can extend the settlement to the connected cursive letters and deferent style. The strategy will be rather useful, if be applied to the similar foreign languages for handwriting recognition with the ideology of Chinese's handwriting recognition analyses that we have published in China.

Abstract:software rejuvenation has been used to avoidsoftware (running image) aging, which is thephenomena of the gradual performance degradationof running software images due to unreleasedresources, accumulation of numerical errors, andfile system degradation. At the same time, software rejuvenation also can incur an overheadwhich should be balanced against the lossincurred due to unexpected outage caused by afailure. Thus, effective rejuvenation depends onthe right time. The time to rejuvenate is usuallyestimated based on the collection and statisticalanalysis of the values of aging related systemparameters. However, to our knowledge, there isno work on systematically identifying the agingrelated parameters. Thus, in this paper, wepropose a systematic method for identifying theseparameters, which is verified in the context ofXen. We firstly identify 2101 potential agingrelated system parameters that cover all the aspects of system, includingCPU scheduling, networking, memory/diskaccessing, virtual machine monitor communication and system kernel information. Then, we collect the values of theseparameters in both aging and healthy runningprocesses. After that, statistical test andmanual identification technique are used toobtain aging related parameters. We also verifiedthese parameters by a machine learning method, the results show that the parameters caneffectively represent the system performance andfurther system aging state.
