Abstract:With the increasing popularity of Internet news video analysis, indexing, and retrieval, locate both spatial and temporal positions of captions in news video becomes a challenging task. Most existing methods have focused on detecting texts in staitc frame and tracking in different frames. In this paper, we propose an effective and efficient system for detecting news video subject caption by using spatial and temproal imformation. An classification scheme is equipped in Our alogrithm and a set of spatial-temporal features specially designed for eliminating false caption candidates. The experimental results on our datasets have shown the robustness and efficiency of the proposed method. | |||

Abstract:Fat-tree structure is widely adopted in data center network for its high bisection. There have been lots of researches of load balancing in fat-tree topology network. Static ECMP is easily trapped in local optimum and centralized scheduler causes large overheads. In this paper, we proposed a ProAcive Pod-Based (PAPB) load balancing scheme. PAPB is based on SDN architecture, thus gets a global congestion aware of network. Proactive and pod based flow instantiation reduce the number of flow entries in an OpenFlow switch and decrease the overheads between control plane and data plane. Simulation shows that our PAPB scheme greatly reducing the packet loss rate and the queue length compared to ECMP and RR. | |||

Abstract:Isogeometric analysis bridges the gap between the fields of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) with the concept that the NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) basis function widely used for geometry description is employed to approximate the field variables such as nodal displacement, stress and strain in FEA(Finite Element Analysis). The problems in linear elasticity are the original examples successfully solved by finite element analysis and still occupy a large part of industrial applications, therefore we apply the method of IGA (isogeometric analysis) to solve this problem and proved the effectiveness of this newly invented approach. | |||

Abstract:DNA sequences have the fundamental information for each species and a comparison between DNA sequences is one of the basic biological problems. There are a large number of algorithms applied in sequence alignment. Some are for approximate alignment, and others are for exact alignment, which also plays an important role in biology research. In this paper, a new parallel algorithm based on FED algorithm for exact sequences alignment with MPI is proposed. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm can report the matched positions in the specific sequence and improve the matching speed with MPI, as well as reduce the storage requirement. | |||

Abstract:Image interpolation is a classical problem in image processing. In this paper, we propose a perception-motivated interpolation algorithm for dynamic image sequences, which attempts to acquire high quality interpolation results in accordance with human visual perception. This algorithm mainly consists of two stages. First, the salient region detection method based on histogram contrast is used to capture attention regions of images. Then a partition interpolation model is presented to improve the interpolation quality of attention regions. Conducted experiments have shown that our algorithm can spend less time to produce satisfactory image sequences.????? | |||

Abstract:Support Vector Machine is a kind of algorithm used for classifying linear and nonlinear data, which not only has a solid theoretical foundation, but is more accurate than other sorting algorithms in many areas of applications, especially in dealing with high-dimensional data. It is not necessary for us to get the specific mapping function in solving quadratic optimization problem of SVM, and the only thing we need to do is to use kernel function to replace the complicated calculation of the dot product of the data set, reducing the number of dimension calculation. This paper introduces the theoretical basis of support vector machine, summarizes the research status and analyses the research direction and development prospects of kernel function. | |||

Abstract:Embedded systems have been confined to be agents although they have been deployed in element management system for decades. An exploration has been made on this situation by designing and implementing a new full-featured embedded element management system. On one hand, this system can still be an agent; on the other hand, this system provides a user-friendly GUI and I/O devices such as mouse and keyboard, which allows administrators to conveniently monitor and configure the managed equipment. The new system is developed on ARM and Linux with several advanced programming techniques such as multithreading and semaphore, and it is deployed on ROADM(Reconfigurable Optical Add/drop Multiplexer) equipment used in optical network. Moreover, SNMP is applied to be the network management protocol of the system. | |||

Abstract:In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to evaluate the authority of the users in micro-blog. The new algorithm is based on two concepts we come up: Relative Importance and User's Activeness. The first concept is based on the social network structure of every micro-blog user. And the second is based on the quantity of the micro-blogs that one user sent, the more he sent, the higher the activeness will be. Experimental result shows that the improved algorithm can evaluate the authority of the micro-blog users far more reasonable than the traditional algorithms. | |||

Abstract:The small unmanned helicopter landing systems usually identify a specific shape on the ground to calculate the distance between helicopter and the target. In this paper, we use a new method. When the unmanned helicopter is landing, the aerial system identifies the QR code on the ground, parses out the information contained, then determines whether the QR code is the place to land. If the helicopter should land on the QR code, the height and distance between helicopter and QR code should be calculated. Using the geometric relationship of the three find patterns of QR code in different coordinate systems, we can calculate the height and distance between the camera and QR code. As the positional relationship between the camera and helicopter is known, the height and distance between helicopter and QR code can be calculated. The information of height and distance will be transmitted to the flight control system on the board of the small unmanned helicopter, which controls the helicopter land. | |||

Abstract:In order to ensure the security of the classified network, the main method used currently is to physically isolate the classified network. It reduces security threats from external network. However, there are still many security risks inside the classified network, especially illegal external link and abuse of removable storage media, which can cause disclosure of sensitive information, infection of classified hosts with malware and so on. This paper proposes and implements an illegal external link monitoring system on Linux platform, aiming at solving the problems mentioned above. It focuses on the monitor of illegal external link and management of removable storage media on classified computers. According to the survey, it is the first time in this filed to publicly analyze such kind of system based on Linux platform. To prove the feasibility of the proposed architecture and key techniques, this paper carries out a series of experiments, and gives out the detailed experimental data. | |||
