Abstract:This paper introduces a typical kind of time synchronization method based on cross layer consideration. The typical design of a network system mainly follows the OSI separated model. The whole design progress is always implemented without considering of the interaction with different layers. The improved post synchronization mechanism proposed in this paper presents a self correction method of estimating the crystal oscillation drift based on the cross layer consideration-the unification design of physical and media access control layer. The experiment results from wireless MCU Si1000 illustrate that the improved post synchronization using cross layer design is able to keep a stable operation of network in the way of prolong the synchronization period and reducing the cost of synchronous actions. | |||

Abstract:The discrete fourier transform (DFT) is an important tool in digital signal processing. In this paper, a novel approach to DFT is proposed. The computation of DFT is transformed to the computation of the first-order moments by the simple mathematical deductions. It is well known that the first-order moments can be computed efficiently using only additions. An efficient systolic array is designed to implement DFT. The comparison with the existing methods shows the advantages of our method. The approach is also applicable to DFT inverses. | |||

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a communication system with N base stations, each of which is equipped with M antennas in distributed way, supporting data traffic to K user terminals, each of which is equipped with one antenna. An efficient suboptimum algorithm is proposed for selecting users and antennas to form coordinated transmission/reception (CoMP) groups, which can improve the system performance significantly, especially the performance of cell-edge users. The scheme includes two steps: the selection of antennas groups and the selection of CoMP groups. The first step focuses on clustering antennas with high similarity, while the second step is accomplished by using project matrix which considers both the strength and the orthogonality of receive signals. Simulation results have shown the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. | |||

Abstract:In order to improve the dynamic node location accuracy and positioning coverage, the node localization could be applied in wireless sensor network, based on the traditional algorithm, a new node localization algorithm is proposed. In the algorithm, unknown nodes rely on the help of neighbor nodes to judge their own position, finally got his coordinates. And the simulation results compared with the traditional algorithm, and proves that the improved algorithm can greatly improve the accuracy and coverage of wireless sensor network localization. | |||

Abstract:In recent years, network selection has been widely studied when mobile terminal can choose among multiple wireless access networks. But most schemes in current literatures are not suitable for practical usage because they all aim at choosing the best network for terminals which are probably running applications more then one type. Choosing the best network encounters two challenges: 1) How to define the best network; 2) how to allocate the best network. In this paper, we will propose a novel application-oriented network selection strategy which chooses the most suitable network for different applications running in one terminal, then chooses the best network for terminals through investigating the challenges above and considering practical usage. The design goal is to provide users the best QoS, meanwhile utilize network resource more effectively. | |||

Abstract:In this paper, three channel estimation methods including least square (LS) estimation method, linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) estimation method and low rank minimum mean square error (Lr-MMSE) estimation method are considered for Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based cooperative diversity systems with multiple Amplify-and-forward (AF) relays over frequency-selective fading channels. Furthermore this paper gives an approximate bit error rate (BER) analysis based on Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) and Equal Gain Combining (EGC) that assumes perfect time synchronization. Abstract:The development gateway of a country would be the well-developed infrastructure specially the telecommunication. The telecommunication would be the foundation for the development of the information technology. Mongolia is catching up with the latest development of the telecommunication and information technologies. Recently, Ulaanbaatar capital and some capitals of province have been connected with a high-speed fiber optic cable network. Twenty-one provinces and their 330 sums (the second level of administrative subdivision in a province) have been covered with nation wide mobile network provided by the national carriers, i.e. MobiCom, Skytel and Unitel, G-mobile. The next generations of mobile services 3.5G or WCDMA, will be introduced to Mongolian market and it will allow the high-speed data and media transmission. Goal of the project is to use main mobile services, Internet connection and SMS, to build a cost effective and reliable network for Gasoline Company and its Gas stations. Abstract:Two dispersion compensation schemes of an optical label switching transmission system were investigated, which deploying 40Gb/s Return Zero Differential Phase-Shift Keying (RZ-DPSK) payload labeled with 2.5Gb/s On-Off Keying (OOK) signal based on the Optical Carrier Suppression and Separation (OCSS) technique. In the Fiber Bragg Gating (FBG) scheme the receiver sensitivity of payload and label achieved -32.2dBm and -25.1dBm, respectively. Using the Fiber Bragg Gating (FBG) scheme, after transmitted over 80km, 160km and 320km fiber respectively, the label can be recovered with less than 1dB power penalty average, while the payload can be recovered with less than 1.5dB penalty average, respectively. | |||

Abstract:The message flow and message content of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)protocol, and applications of SIP protocol are studied in this paper. The analysis of Protocol Conformance Test described in this paper focuses on the techniques that currently are often used to design a manual test case. This technique is easy but it is necessary to describe the test way and results clearly in order to avoid wrong operations and fault results caused by the tester’s wrong comprehension. By studying SIP protocol and test techniques, 37 test cases are designed to test SIP terminals, which examines the accuracy of the message flow and message content of the terminals that support the basic speech service, insures the realization of the basic speech business from the protocol layer, and validating the correctness and reliability of the test cases. | |||
