Abstract:Recently, indoor positioning and location-based service have attracted considerable attentions. In harsh indoor environment, non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation might cause serious localization bias. Therefore, an efficient method for screening line-of-sight (LOS) measurements is necessary for reliable positioning. In this paper, a novel LOS identification scheme, in which the geometric relationship between position error and angle of arrival (AOA) and the infomation of separated multipath are utilized, is proposed. Specifically, the identification procedure can be divided into three steps. Firstly, range measurements that may contain NLOS bias are used to obtain coarse location. Secondly, we derive a LOS confidence region about the two-dimensional AOA base on the initial coarse position, with the region threshold related to the initial positioning error and estimated AOA deviation. After filtering out the NLOS measurements, an improved two step weighted least squares (TSWLS) position estimator base on time difference of arrival (TDOA) and AOA is developed and used for accurately positioning. Simulation results reveal that the proposed algorithms can yield a high LOS/NLOS identification accuracy and localization precision.

Abstract:In the background of artificial intelligence (AI) being widely applied, radio frequency (RF) fingerprint identification employing AI has become a trend. This paper mainly focuses on ways to process and identify RF signal transmitters. Contrapose to traditional RF fingerprint feature extracting and identifying methods, a method for modeling and extracting the RF signals features using integral bispectrum firstly was raised. Afterwards, A convolutional neural network has been proposed for classification of the RF individual transmitters. For verification, several mobile phones (with same or different type/brand) signals were processed by the above methods. The experiments results show that the proposed methods make up the weaknesses in accuracy and efficiency of previous used GBDT, XGBoost, and stacking algorithms. Moreover, the signal model derived by the proposed methods can describe individual signal transmitter with same type and brand, which is superior to signal model mentioned in references and has great significance in individual RF fingerprint identification.

Abstract:In this paper, the trajectory design problem is investigated in wireless communications aided by multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and a multi-UAV trajectory design method called multi-agent twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient (MA-TD3) is proposed which is able to design continuous trajectories without pre-knowledge of global information such as user locations and channel conditions, through integrating the multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient (MADDPG) algorithm and twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient (TD3) algorithm based on actor-critic reinforcement learning (RL) framework. In particular, the multi-UAV trajectory design problem is firstly formulated as a stochastic game (SG) to maximize the completion rate of the transmission tasks. Then, the MA-TD3 method is proposed which is based on the actor-critic RL framework and the learned trajectory is obtained successively. Numerical results show that compared to traditional single agent RL methods, the proposed MA-TD3 method achieves higher completion rate of the transmission tasks by enabling cooperation between multiple UAVs through centralized training and distributed execution.

Abstract:To address the problems of high computational complexity and angle mismatch in 2-D DOA estimation using CS theory in the intelligent vehicle radar communication integrated system, this paper proposes a new method based on compressed sensing. Combined with the particularity of L-shaped array structure, this method firstly uses SVD processing to obtain a low-dimensional data matrix; secondly, defines the spatial synthesis angle for secondary dimensionality reduction; then uses the OMP algorithm and mathematical geometry to inversely obtain sparse parameters; finally, the subspace projection is used to achieve angle matching, so as to obtain the correct 2-D DOA estimation result. The theoretical derivation and experimental simulations show that this algorithm greatly reduces the computational complexity and improves the probability of pairing success. It also has obvious advantages for different SNR, array element number and snapshot number.

Abstract:The note on the theory of using the compressed sensing theory to estimate the angle of arrival of the array signal in the intelligent vehicle system based on radar-communication is the spatial sparse partitioning and the optimization of the sparse reconstruction algorithm. Different partitioning methods will result in different array flow patterns, and the construction of array flow patterns is the basis of algorithm estimation. At present, the establishment of the sparse model is simply based on the equal angle or the equal sinusoidal division method. However, in the normal and end-fire directions, the orthogonality of the two is different, and the estimation results are also different. To this end, this paper designs a spatial sparse partitioning model combining the equal sinusoidal and the equal angle division. The simulation shows that this model has certain advantages compared with the traditional division method. In addition, in order to optimize the performance of the SAMP algorithm in integrated systems, this paper proposes an improved matching tracking algorithm. Based on the SAMP algorithm, this algorithm sets strict comparison of residual values as termination conditions, and automatically adjusts the number of atoms in the candidate set through an adaptive process to achieve accurate signal reconstruction. The theoretical derivation and experimental simulations show that this algorithm has obvious benifits in terms of operation speed and reconstruction accuracy while maintaining the advantages of this original algorithm.

Abstract:In this paper, the outage behavior of a decode-and-forward (DF) relaying network is studied in a two-hop diffusion-based molecular communication (MC) system. The MC system can be characterized by outage probability and outage events. Based on this event and probability, the robustness of the transmissions to fading is measured. Specifically, according to Shannon\'s capacity theorem and Fick\'s law, the outage probability of fading channels is investigated. The distribution characteristics of the channel gain is considered based on the proposed relaying system. The analysis of this article can be useful for the performance optimization of MC system.

Abstract:Different positioning methods currently have limitations in respective application scenarios, so the integration of positioning has become a hot topic. In terms of data integration, inconsistent and fluctuations of the positioning data makes it difficult when fit the data. To solve this problem, the paper presents a method for position data filtering and data fusion normalization. Firstly, heterogeneous data sets are filtered with R-EWMA algorithm to obtain higher quality fusional data, and then fusion data are normalized with a modified Z-score normalization method without affecting the positioning accuracy and confidence. The study is mainly targeted at preprocessing work of multi-source heterogeneous data fusion, and to some extent excluding the invalid data. Experimental results show that TDOA and RSSI Location noise fluctuations have improved significantly through the methods, and the normalized space is in accordance with the fusion requirement, which will be effectively applied to the next study of fusion location.
