Abstract:We survey our achievements on the classification of congruence classes of presentations for the finite complex reflection groups. The classification is described in terms of certain graphs for the imprimitive groups, and is based on the computer programmes for the primitive groups.

Abstract:In this paper, an efficient algorithm for computing the minimal polynomial of a polynomial matrix is presented. It determines the coefficient polynomials term by term from lower to higher degree. By using a random vector and randomly shifting, it requires no condition on the input matrix. Comparison with other algorithms in both theoretical complexity analysis and computational tests are given to show its effectiveness.

Abstract:In this paper, the controllability of semilinear evolution inclusions with nonlocal conditions in Banach spaces is investigated when the multivalued map has nonconvex values. The approach used here is a fixed point theorem due to Covitz and Nadler for contraction multivalued maps.

Abstract:Let R be a ring and A an $\beta\times\alpha$ matrix over R, where $\alpha$ and $\beta$ are two card numbers. We investigate some homological properties of modules over R by matrices. Thus, $(\alpha, \beta)$-injective (resp., $(\alpha, \beta)$-flat) modules and $(\alpha, \beta)$-coherent rings are introduced and investigated. Some known results on generalized injective (resp., projective, flat) modules as well as ($\pi$-)coherent rings are extended.

Abstract:Certain weak type endpoint estimates are established for the maximal commutators generated by Calderón-Zygmund operators and OscexpLr(μ) functions for r ≥ 1 under the condition that the underlying measure only satisfies some growth condition, where the kernels of Calderón-Zgymund operators only satisfy the standard size condition and some Hörmander type smooth condition, and OscexpLr(μ) are the spaces of Orlicz type satisfying that OscexpLr(μ)= RBMO(μ) if r=1 and OscexpLr(μ) ?RBMO(μ) if r > 1. Moreover, the same weak type endpoint estimates for the maximal operators associated with the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function and OscexpLr(μ) functions with for r≥ 1are also presented.

Abstract:In this paper, electromagnetic scattering by an infinite conducting cylinder coated with left-handed material (LHM) for an incident wave of a line source is derived rigorously by using a boundary value mode-matching approach. The numerical calculations demonstrate the improved directivity of the electromagnetic scattering by such a cylindrical structure, due to the negative refraction phenomenon of the LHM. The far-field radiation pattern and its frequency dependence exhibit the possible application of the LHM in directive antenna technique.

Abstract:Let R be an associative ring with identity and J(R) the Jacobson radical of R. A left R-module M is called J-flat in case the canonical map µ from the tensor product of J(R) and M to M is a monomorphism. We give some characterizations for J-flat modules. As an application, we prove that R is semiprimitive if and only if every left R-module is J-flat.

Abstract: gasoline direct injection combustion system based on two-stage injection strategy was developed by authors and presented in this paper. The combustion system can realize three combustion modes as follows: Homogeneous Charge Spark Ignition (HCSI) mode to achieve high power output density; Stratified Charge Spark Ignition (SCSI) to get optimum fuel economy; Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) to obtain ultra-low emissions. The engine could be operated in HCCI combustion mode in a range of load from 1 to 5 bar IMEP and operated in SI combustion mode up to load of 8 bar IMEP. The spark ignition and electronically controlled two-stage gasoline injection system are adopted to control the mixture formation, ignition timing and combustion rate. In HCCI mode, the stratified mixture formed by two-stage injection plays a significant role in controlling HCCI and its combustion, which also proves that spark ignition can be utilized as an assistant control approach. Abstract:The synthesis of optically active (R)-2-trimethylsilyl-2-hydroxyl-ethylcyanide by asymmetric transcyanation of acetyltrimethylsilane with acetone cyanohydrin in a biphasic system was achieved using (R)-oxynitrilase from loquat seed meal. Diisopropyl ether was the most suitable organic phase among the organic solvents examined. The optimal concentration of acetyltrimethylsilane, concentration of crude enzyme, volume ratio of the aqueous to the organic phase, temperature and the buffer pH value were 14 mM, 61.4 U/ml, 13% (v/v), 30 ℃ and 4.0, respectively. The substrate conversion and the product enantiomeric excess were 95% and 98% under the optimized conditions. Acetyltrimethylsilane was a better substrate of the enzyme than its carbon counterpart.
