Abstract:By transferring the conventional waveguide resonant slot array antenna to the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) structure, we could get the advantages of the resonant slot array antenna as well as the advantages of the SIW such as small size, low profile, low cost. In this letter, the design of a SIW resonant five-slot array antenna at Ku-band and its radiation patterns and impedance bandwidth are presented.

Abstract:In this paper, a novel tunable Electromagnetic Band-Gap (EBG) which is controllable by changing applied dc magnetic field is presented. The finite element method of the hybrid of edge-elements and node-elements incorporated with vector Floquet Theism is adopted for calculating the scattering properties of 2-Dimensional ferrite EBG. By changing the directions of the dc magnetic field and altering the strength of magnetic field, the variations of the scattering properties of the ferrite EBG are analyzed. Results show that the performance of the EBG devices is changeable by adjusting the directions and strength of the dc magnetic filed. Which indicates the possibility of R/D a novel performance tunable EBG.

Abstract:I2C-bus is applied widely in many practical systems, so we have designed I2C-bus controller by MCU and FPGA/CPLD .Two techniques are in common use. And I2C-bus controller designed by two techniques is steady and reliable .The designer will select one between both techniques, according different systems.

Abstract:The scattering of a plane wave with a linear polarization by a conducting helix is presented. The analytical expresses of scattering field are obtained based on the boundary condition of a sheath helix model. At the conducting cylinder limit, our results coincide with the literatures. Effects of a pitch angle and electrical size of the helix on the resonant behavior are investigated.

Abstract:This paper presents a novel power/ground planes for suppressing the ground bounce noise (GBN) by utilizing a two-dimensional photonic bandgap (PBG) structures. The proposed PBG structure adopts spiral-shaped defects on power plane of power/ground planes. Due to the spiral-shaped defects, the equivalents shunt inductance varies in wide range. The proposed structure behaves high performance of suppressing GBN within a very broadband frequency range from 0.5 GHz to 5GHz.

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:his paper presents a parallel dynamic passive valveless micropump, which consists of three layers—valve, diaphragm and electromagnetic coil. The valve is wetly etched in a silicon wafer, the diaphragm is a PDMS (polydimethyl siloxane) film spun on a silicon wafer with embedded permanent magnet posts, and the coil is electroplated on a silicon substrate. Under the actuation of the magnetic field of the coil, the flexible diaphragm can be displaced upwards and downwards. After analyzing magnetic and mechanical characteristic of the flexible membrane and direction-dependence of the nozzle, this paper designed a micropump. And the relative length (L/d) of the micropump’s nozzle is 4.An 7×7 array of permanent magnetic posts is embedded in the PDMS film. The two diaphragms work in an anti-step mode, which can relieve the liquid shock and increase the discharge of the micropump. ANSYS○R and Matlab○R are adopted to analyze the actuation effect of the coil and the flow characteristic of the mi

Abstract:A nonlinear self-consistent simulation code is employed to investigate the behavior of the outer-slotted-coaxial waveguide gyrotron traveling-wave amplifier (gyro-TWA). The influences of the velocity pitch, frequency and input power of the electron beam on efficiency, output power and saturated gain are simulated and discussed in detail. It is predicted that this design with 95GHz, TE3,1 will yield a peak output power of 264.3KW, a peak efficiency of 33.7% and saturated gain of 44.2dB.
