	Abstract:The theory of carrier subtraction method for performances improvement of radio-over-fiber (RoF) link with fixed incident optical power on photodetector (PD) is precisely and completely demonstrated. An analytical model is proposed to quantify the improvement of link gain, noise figure (NF) and spur-free dynamic range (SFDR) with the change of carrier suppression ratio. The modulation index m for the validity of this carrier subtraction method is fully investigated. The optimum optical carrier-to-sideband ratio (CSR) for RoF link performances in both double-sideband and single-sideband modulation is obtained. The simulation results and experimental results are then presented, which have good agreement with each other. The experiment is realized through stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS), which has many advantages as a carrier filter, such as self-tuning, self-regulating and narrow gain spectrum.

	Abstract:A dynamic frequency equalization method is essential for many radio-over-fiber (RoF) applications due to the time-varying physical surrounding around them. In this letter, a simple and easy-implemented scheme for dynamically equalizing the RoF link is proposed with the help of a tunable and reconfigurable microwave-photonic filter. A novel equipment of variable optical tilt filter (VOTF) made of transparent electro-optic ceramic material and controlled by electronic driving circuit is the key component in the filter to realize the dynamic frequency equalization. By feedback control, any expected frequency equalization can be realized with high speed. Both the experiments and results are presented in the letter, which verify the validity and flexibility of this method further.

	3. AEEC: An Adaptive Energy Efficient Clustering algorithm in sensor networks

	Abstract:Clustering sensor nodes is an effective technique to prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor networks. In this paper we investigate the impact of heterogeneity of nodes, in terms of their energy and data amount, and propose a novel adaptive, distributed, energy efficient clustering algorithm AEEC for wireless sensor networks, which better suits the heterogeneous sensor networks. Our approach elects cluster heads based on the node energy relative to that of whole network, which can employ energy more efficiently in heterogeneous networks. Simulation results show that AEEC can prolong the stable region of lifetime compared to the other clustering algorithm, and the average throughput is increased effectively of wireless sensor networks. 	Abstract:In this paper, we present an algorithm to construct the convolutional multicast network coding over any finite directed cyclic graph from a brand-new point. In this algorithm, we consider the dual line graph of a directed cyclic graph as a system, in which the global encoding kernels in the original graph are the corresponding inputs or outputs and the local encoding kernels in original graph are gains of channels. Then we can construct the convolutional multicast by using the classical Mason formula on the system.

	Abstract:Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) has already been the main multiple access technology for 3G long term evolution(LTE) and 4G.This paper analyzes characteristics of OFDMA multiple access technology and puts forward a new OFDMA handover algorithm (sub-carriers bidirectional arrayed handover algorithm, SBA). The simulation results show that, during handover process, SBA algorithm proposed in this paper guarantees users in OFDMA system keeping the best channel SIR and QoS. Moreover, SBA algorithm decreases the extra consumption of the handover, and improves OFDMA system performance.

	6. Good Encodable Irregular Quasi-Cyclic LDPC Codes

	Abstract:The existing encodable irregular LDPC codes may have a degraded BER performance when it is derived from classical regular QC LDPC codes since both girth property and weight property are not carefully given attention to two or more thing. Some codes have large girths but they have small minimum weights which lead to a poor BER performance. To solve the problem, we propose a new approach to construct the encodable irregular QC codes, which can not produce new short girths and can keep the large minimum weight and minimum distance of the codes. The theorems of girth 4 and girth 6 are provided to test the girth variance of the obtained irregular QC codes. Simulations verify the construction of the QC LDPC codes to be valid, since better BER performance than that of existing encodable irregular LDPC codes is obtained.

	Abstract:This article describes a network of third-party position on a moving target positioning process, and proposes an approach based on TD-SCDMA network architecture seamless positioning program, integrate the existing GPS positioning technology and wireless location network technology, thus realize the ubiquitous mobile location-based services.This network architecture can be a good environment to the different needs of different users with seamless global positioning.

	Abstract:Based on 2-D Laplace-z transform, this paper develops a 2-D stability test for queue systems with fixed parameters. In this paper, classical queue systems with fixed parameters are modeled into 2-D continuous-discrete systems with fixed parameters. Then taking 2-D Laplace-z transform for them, we obtain the 2-D s-z domain queue models. Applying the presented Hurwitz-Schur stability theorems, the stability of typical queue systems can be determined in 2-D s-z domain, it is not necessary to find the solutions of queue systems in time-state domain, which is difficult generally. In the 2-D stability analysis of queue systems, this paper reveals that 2-D boundary conditions of queue systems may lead to the problem of second kind nonessential singularities. The hybrid 2-D transform’s definitions and theorems for the stability analysis of queue systems are given in the paper. Examples are given to verify the results of this paper.

	9. SINR study in Single Frequency Network environment

	Abstract:We implement SFN (Single Frequency Network) in an OFDM platform and SINR from different links carrying the same signal can be combined. Since we treat each OFDM sub channel as narrow band flat fading channel, our combination of rays from different base station is make sense. We simulate both in door and out door cases with different cyclic prefix lengths, and give out the simulation results. In our results, the out door case have a larger coverage compared with the indoor case, given the similar SINR.

	10. A New Multi-Access Scheme for PCTH UWB System

	Abstract:Pseudo Chaotic Time Hoping (PCTH) is a recently proposed modulation scheme for UWB impulse radio. Unlike a typical TH-UWB, the PCTH-UWB system exploits concepts from symbolic dynamics to generate aperiodic sequences which modulate the position of pulses. The use of aperiodic TH sequence can enhance the spread-spectrum characteristics of UWB system by removing the spectral feature of the transmitted signal. In this paper, in order to improve the performance of conventional MA-PCTH-UWB system, we propose a new scheme for the multi-access communication of PCTH UWB system by transmitting specific training sequences which initialize the conditions of the shift registers for each user in each frames. The performance of BER of this system is analyzed.
