Abstract:In order to carry out P2P service efficiently, a solution of IC-P2PTRD (P2P Traffic Re-Direction based on Inspection and Control) applied in PON access network was proposed. However, IC-P2PTRD may cause failure in redirection. This thesis proposed a solution of MIC-P2PTRD (Modified P2P Traffic Re-Direction based on Inspection and Control) based on IC-P2PTRD while carried out an simulation analysis using the network simulation tool of NS2, verified that this strengthened P2P redirection solution has made certain improvement in reducing the network throughput burden in the core network.

Abstract:IIn this paper the objective is to describe the PAPR in the SCFDMA and OFDMA, and then make analyze for good performance of PAPR, from the comparative study for some PAPR reduction method. Finally the best one of them has been proposed for PAPR reduction. As we know, the 3GPP LTE ensures long-term competitiveness of UMTS for the applications of radio broadband and mobile TV. This technology will bring theoretical peak rates to above 100 Mbps for downlink and 50 Mbps for uplink and reduce latency to levels comparable with fixed broadband internet. In addition, improvements should be significant with regard to access time 3-4 HSPDA for MIMO in DL and 2-3 times HSUPA for MIMO in UL, capacity and spectral efficiency. LTE is optimized for low speeds 0-15 km/h but mobility is maintained for speeds up to 350 km/h. The data transmission between the base station and mobile technology uses OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) was already used for WiMAX. For the uplink, the LTE of the 3GPP employs SC-FDMA due to its low PAPR properties compared to OFDMA. SC-FDMA is a technology using single-carrier modulation and frequency domain equalization. The orthogonal frequency division multiple access based on OFDM technology is used in LTE downlink. However, there is a big drawback of OFDMA: the problem of high PAPR.

Abstract:We present an analysis of input pulse parameters in the quantum key distribution system, including influences of pulse width, pulse energy and frequency entanglement. Simulation results show that the quantum bit error rate can decrease with a narrow, smaller energy and smaller frequency entanglement pulse. In addition, the impact of fiber dispersion is also discussed.

Abstract:This paper proposes a multi-hop synchronization protocol for multiple physiological information transmission over the body sensor network (BSN). A packet reconstitution mechanism was designed to achieve synchronous transmission. The experimental results validated the efficiency of the protocol on continuous real-time monitoring of multiple physiological parameters over multi-hop BSNs.

Abstract:A modified K shortest path (KSP) algorithm is introduced in this paper. In condition of large networks and equal link weights, not all of the paths computed are correct in the traditional KSP algorithm, so an improved method is proposed for solving this situation.

Abstract:3GPP is developing Long Term Evolution (LTE) standardization in recent years to provide enhanced performance. In LTE uplink, SC-FDMA has been selected as the multiple access scheme. In this paper, we investigate the resource allocation scheme for the two mapping strategies of SC-FDMA, LFDMA and IFDMA, which requires the subcarriers allocated to a single user to be adjacent and equidistant distributed respectively. Due to the mapping requirement, the allocation flexibility is reduced which makes it challenging to design effective resource allocation algorithms. This paper provides PF-based resource allocation schemes for LFDMA and IFDMA respectively. Both of the schemes are with low complexity and can achieve proportional fairness for users, while satisfying the sub-carrier mapping requirement. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithms are efficent in terms of average system throughput and fairness performance among users.

8. A Novel Two-stage Network Selection Scheme Based On User Classification
Wang Shengdong | |||

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this paper, a novel two-stage network selection scheme based on user classification is proposed. The network-decided architectural framework which the scheme can apply to is first introduced. Parameters used to select network are divided into user-type and service-type parameters. Correspondingly, network selection process is done in two stages: user-stage selection and service-stage selection. In the former stage, user classification is introduced into network selection and prioritized network list (PNL) is allocated to each user grade to decrease the number of candidate networks for the next stage. In the second stage, target network is selected for the user based on service-type parameters from the corresponding PNL. Distinctions between initial and handoff network selection are taken into consideration to adjust the selection results. The proposed scheme can reduce the calculation complexity and handoff probability. As indicated from simulation results, the proposed scheme is feasible and user-centric, which can fully satisfy user’s demand.

Abstract:In downlink CoMP transmission, we consider a UE-centric scheme called SHO (Soft Handover) grouping algorithm, which is basically different from recent cell-centric scheme. It could afford more freedom in UEs and cells grouping for collaboration, and provide significant performance gains. Simulation results are provided to show the considerable gains of the proposed algorithm, which have been scaled to compare with single-cell mode.

Abstract:An ad hoc network is composed of a group of mobile and wireless nodes whose power provided by batteries. Energy saving is a crucial problem in ad hoc networks. Various energy saving schemes are required to lengthen the network’s lifetime. A novel energy-saving scheme for ad hoc networks is proposed in this paper, which limited the broadcasting range of the route discovery information through forwarding decision based on distance. Extensive simulation has been done to compare the performances between the proposed scheme and the traditional AODV protocol. The simulation results show that the novel scheme could save more energy.
